Forest Interview
Student interprets the idea of a dialog or interview in an expressive and poetic way. This project invites you to experiment with the form of interview as a strategy for art making privileging audio. The setting will be Austin Cary Forest, University of Florida’s teaching forest http://sfrc.ufl.edu/forest/about/austincary/ The project does not have to be about Austin Cary forest or issues related to the pine forests of the southeastern US (Although it could be, if you would like). This assignment give you experience of considering site-specificity and collecting footage in the field.
